Blockchain Reinsurance Platform
I led the architectural redesign and rebuild of a decentralized blockchain-based insurance platform into a modern, cloud-native SaaS solution for multinational program management.
The project transformed a complex, fragmented system into a scalable, API-driven platform that improved agility, compliance, and integration across global markets - while upskilling the internal engineering team and standardizing Agile delivery practices across the organization.

Client
Xceedance & ChainThat
The client’s decentralized blockchain-based insurance platform had become difficult to maintain, scale, and integrate.
It needed a rebuild to modernize the technology stack, improve usability, and enable faster deployment of multinational insurance programs across global markets.
As Lead Architect and Technical Lead, I redefined the system architecture into a modern, cloud-native SaaS platform. I directed a team of five developers, introduced Agile delivery practices, and implemented a modular microservices foundation with reusable code components to support complex insurance workflows, compliance logic, and distributed ledger (DLT) integration.
Challenges
Balancing blockchain-based data integrity with modern microservices patterns required defining clear boundaries between on-chain and off-chain data.
Reworking legacy logic into a domain-driven model while training a mixed-experience team on new frameworks demanded careful technical mentoring and robust documentation to maintain delivery velocity.
Outcomes
The rebuilt platform enabled scalable, API-driven integration across markets and reduced onboarding time for new insurance programs. Internal adoption accelerated as the platform became the blueprint for future migrations.
The development team I trained now leads further product rebuilds across the organization, and Agile delivery practices have been adopted company-wide.
